The tour of the coffee culture

You know  whatit's Recuca ? It is the tour of the coffee culture, an activity that you cant be left out during your visit to the Quindío. Here tourists can interact deeply with everything all around the production of a cup of coffee , from seed of a plant until the time a coffee is served .

This amazing tourist site in the town of CalarcaQuindioDepartment ,opened its doors to the public for the first time on March 30, 2006 and since then has helped national and foreign visitors to know the history of Colombian coffee growers .

During the tour,the  visitors can use the traditional costumes of the region and most importantly perform the collection and processing of coffee, in the way they did the former workers of these farms, and can learn an  interesting details details about the history of coffee , paisa culture and the importance of coffee in the world.

To make your visit more enjoyable I would recommend  you bring the following items : sunscreen, insect repellent , walking shoes, hat, video or photographic camera.
